Pacific Rim - FXWORK.COM - THE PORTFOLIO OF RUSS LUKICH

With Pacific Rim being made, I was fortunate enough to work on another Spectral Motion/ Guillermo Del Toro project.
For this film I was involved with assisting  the maquette sculpture of the "Knife Head" Kaiju from the beginning of the film. I also handled the paint design of the " Rollie Polly's " , the creepy parasites that live on the skin of the Kaiju and are harvested by Hannibal Chao. There were 20 or so animatronic creatures that I painted on for the film.
